These cute pieces of cakes sold here may be small, in fact smaller than an adult's palm, but each packs a little surprise in the centre: Nice flowing lava core.
The best part about this shop is that there are many tempting flavours to choose from and most of them are very nice.
The ones made from white chocolate are highly recommended, since the the flavour of matcha, raspberry, pistachio and lemon complements so well with the white chocolate respectively, yet not over shadowing each other at the same time. The result is a delightful combination of the richness of white chocolate and the unique, exciting taste of the fruits or nuts.
Though I'm not very impressed with the dark chocolate ones, they are very chocolatey but lack the complexity in taste that a premium chocolate will have. The lava cake at Jewels Artisan still tops my list when it comes to dark chocolate lava cakes.
The service is nice and friendly. Definitely going back for more, and the cakes make nice little gifts!
