Nagae - Great Set Lunches

If one wants to have delicious, value for money, Japanese set lunches with minimum MSG, at a quiet, scenic location, then Nagae will make a good choice. Though I'll rather give their sashimi and sushi from the ala carte menu a miss, since they have a hint of fishy smell and the temperature of the raw seafood just does not feel right when I eat them.

The service is good, probably one of the few Japanese restaurants that has decent service (I had seen a lot of Japanese restaurants with horrible service).

If one does not mind splurging a little bit more, then try ordering the Kyoho Grape Ice cream which is hard to be found at other local restaurants, and it tasted really good with hints of the taste of wine (though no wine added).

Definitely the place I'll go to for Japanese set lunches!
