Waku Ghin - Simply Exquisite

There is one word that is best describes the experience of dining at Waku Ghin: Exquisite. It is definitely a dining experience like no others.

Exquisite ingredients - The best, most sinful, freshest ingredients are used

Exquisite cooking - In the meticulous preparations of the dishes by the chef

Exquisite taste of food - To create dishes of absolutely decadence. The condiments used only seek to complement, never overshadow the natural sweetness of ingredients.

The taste of the dishes (Oscietra Caviar with Uni and White Asparagus, Lobster with Coral Butter, Pigeon with Foie Gras, Pasta with Basil Sauce) seems familiar and simple, but yet luxurious and able to blow one away with their pure goodness. The lobster here is probably the best I ever have, since the rich butter has fully soaked into the meat—it is not easy to achieve that as the tough lobster meat has tendency to resist assimilation of other flavours—that is not as tough as the typical lobster meat. The star got to be the perfect marriage of raw, fresh, unadulterated uni and the premium caviar to assault—in a good way—the palates with the finest taste of unami.

The service and chef are very professional. One can even chat with the chef on the food, Japan (our chef for that day is a Japanese) and travelling around. Though the service staff (not the chef) seems too preoccupied with the formality that the friendliness appeared to be forced.

We were even given a menu of the meal we had that day, nice thoughts.

Definitely looking forward to going back again!

My Thoughts: Incredible and Opulent!
