I have been looking for Japanese crackers that have some spice in them, and this is exactly what I had been searching for. Crunchy, spicy and full of flavours, this is a nice snack to munch on.

Sakusaku Nikki Shrimp/Hotate

 

I love the subtle yet complex flavours of these crispy  crackers. Made with natural ingredients, the essence of the sea is evident at first bite. Shrimp is more intense in taste while scallop is more mellow. I love both. The shrimp cracker for simulation of taste buds while the scallop cracker is for slow enjoyment.

Amanoya Mini Kabukiage

 

Crunchy rice crackers imbued with umami are great snacks to munch on. Soy Sauce is the mild safe bet while still being very tasty. Shrimp Salt is intense. And Plum Bonito is a nice surprise with the extra tang from the plum. Great for gatherings.
