Dream Academy's Choo family is back for a more chaotic good time at Choo's Masquerade Party! And my oh my, I have so much fun at this interactive theatre event that I can't gush enough about how awesome it is.
The cast put up such a wonderful immersive performance that we quickly got pulled into the Choo’s world of secrets, funny betrayals, unexpected twists and chaos. The punchlines are so funny and the characters are so lovable, in a chaotic way. And the best part is that we are part of the show, where we can get to participate to cheer, sing and groove with the cast, primarily offstage 😁
There is also a game segment to get the attendees more involved, and a bombastic fashion show that we absolutely go crazy over 😉
Lucky ones, like me and the lovely gorgeous ladies of “Choo’s Accounting and HR Department” plus a young chap, get chosen to go on stage to perform a song together, and I totally enjoy it. And we are also so lucky to get involved in a subplot injected with a secret, a betrayal, an unexpected twist and full out chaos at the reveal 😂 I totally love this brilliant addition that get us totally invested in the subplot. We cheer harder than before at the reveal, and we have a blast at cheering the loudest 😜 Maybe due to our loud cheering, we get invited to do a catwalk on the stage and we gladly accept the invitation 😊
On artistic level, the show highlights the resolution of intertwining, conflicting relationships and the growing acceptance of it.
The buffet shines in terms of the sheer variety of food and dessert items available for choosing. They even have a live station serving freshly cooked laksa. Food quality is good, making it enjoyable to savour the food while immersing in the show.
Definitely highly recommend, if one goes with an open mind to enjoy the show. One can opt to participate by cheering, singing along or grooving to make it even more fun.
